No one will argue that the Turkish manufacturer was the first to make a smart metal detector? Not Fisher, not Minelab, to say nothing of Garrett in that respect. It was those impudent newcomers that have grabbed a decent MD market share from some manufacturers. Take a look at how a Nokta Invenio, the first smart machine, works. Continue reading
Minelab Equinox, Quest PRO, Makro Multi Kruzer, XP Deus, Garrett AT MAX, and others…
Here is great comparative testing of metal detectors in saltwater. Which one will be the best? It’s really an interesting (and important) test! Continue reading
This blog contains some posts about smart metal detectors of the future, and it’s definitely a good thing. But why today is nobody speaking about a smart pinpointer, or at least the one of the future? As it’s an open question which of these two will become smarter first. So, let’s take a look at… I don’t even know how to call it properly. This probe can’t be called smart, but surely nobody will argue that it’s a unit that has come from the future. Just imagine: you put the pinpointer on your finger like a usual ring and turn into a hero – Detectorist-Man. Just look at this interesting and unexpected solution, you certainly haven’t seen such a conceptual idea before: Continue reading
Do you believe in miracles? Not many deteсtorists know that all wireless technologies are up against difficulties when working underwater. By way of example, in order to transmit a signal from your heel to your head a submersible XP Deus unit should be used with an antenna that has the same length as the shaft itself. However, this doesn’t mean that the signal will be successfully transmitted, especially through the salt water. And how about the Minelab Equinox? This machine has a new-generation Bluetooth function, capable of reaching up to 100 meters. Won’t it also be able to break through the half-your-height water column? Or it will? Here’s a test of the Minelab Equinox’s wireless connectivity that can be achieved underwater. It’s really interesting! Continue reading
Simply switch off the iron and stop picking up junk. You think it’s true? White’s has released a new product 2018 – a White’s Goldmaster 24K detector. That’s the good news as it first of all means that White’s brand still works. The resignation of their lead developer, unsuccessful novelties, elderly owners, attempts to sell the company, Chinese top managers – I need hardly say that after such chain of events you can expect just about anything from White’s. So far we have good news – here comes White’s new machine based on a Bi/XGB technology. Continue reading
