  • Hi, I’m a big fan of your blog. Thx.

  • I liked this one, I picked a couple up sold dirt cheep when they first came out along with the fake whites pinpointer. The whites felt cheap but was very usable. This one felt like the Garrett but the garrett does have better tone speeds as you approach the item. I noticed all the Chinese pinpointers seem to have that same problem. They will find the target but you usually get slow beep to fast nothing in between. With the Garrett when you are on the target it has that almost constant tone. If you are getting a fake carrot, make sure that it has the spot for the lanyard built into it and not a ring at the base. Also look at the speaker grill it needs to look like the Garrett or you will not be submerging it. You can submerge these fakes and the ones that they came out with after to be slightly different then Garrett. I don’t really have a lot of love for Garrett as they will not sell you parts that should be considered replicable and I thought the AT max was an absolute chattery hot mess of total garbage and that they should have been ashamed of themselves. But their pinpionters are very good.
