  • Thank you!!1

  • production of Garrett Apex has stopped. from valid sources.

  • really covering up the chip number does nothing! It is simple to scope it out and figure out what chip it is.

  • Is the screen bonded to the yellow part of the control box?
I’m considering disassembling mine to dip/paint the yellow part, but won’t bother if the screen is bonded/sealed to the box.
I don’t want to compromise the water resistance…or break anything.
    Thanks!

  • Just updated mine and its killed it

    • I am not a garrett fan other then the Carrott, I was excited for them when I first saw the Apex but it just didn’t hit the mark. But I would think that you had on operator issue while reflashing. Did you try again and again? Follow these instructions they seem comprehensive a bit of self advertising to skip through at the beginning.

After charging it up and re re re flashing while following instructions and still no good, then I would reach out to Garrett, they are no Whites but they will take care of you, probably for a price but if you actually liked the machine it might be worth it to you. Good luck.

  • How do you remove the speaker connection on the PCB without damaging the plug ?
