Whether you like it or not, but all of the wireless XP Deus coils come with the same circuit board. It doesn’t matter if it’s a 9-inch or 13-inch coil – electronics is one and the same. Besides, the old (black) coils are powered by identical batteries. The white coils also have similar batteries but between each other. And now think it over: what’s the difference between the XP Deus coils after all? Apart from the housing size and a number of winding turns? You can take such a circuit board, a battery and install them into the lower stem. Next, you’ll have a little left to do… just to make the simplest DD coil. How to tear down the XP Deus coil in order to replace the battery? The whole process will take about 5 minutes. And it’s even without being in a hurry, with consideration of all the details. Remember that it’s not difficult to open the bottom of the coil, but you should pay due attention to providing the latter with a proper seal afterwards, to prevent moisture penetration. Minelab has announced the release of its new coils for the Minelab Equinox 600 and Minelab Equinox 800 metal detectors. A large coil providing greater depth and higher detection speed is a Minelab EQX 15 DD. The second is a sniper coil for trashy areas – Minelab EQX 06 DD. Continue reading
