Watch the video: a MarsMD Pointer test on salt sand (wet/dry). Test targets: gold and silver.
Important note. The MarsMD pinpointer demonstrates stable operation only on the surface. If submerged in water, it starts giving false signals. So you can’t do without sensitivity adjustment under water (salt water). And it is not necessarily the case that it will help. For example, the Garrett PRO Pointer (old, black one) also was unable to withstand submersion. There appear false responses in water, you press the button (a quick press, to adjust sensitivity) – but the device gets turned off at all.
Later I’ll post the tests of other pinpointers (Garrett PRO-Pointer, Whites TRX, Minelab PRO-Find 25).
Have I said that the Whites TRX is dubious in practice? When this pinpointer was being tested, it frightened me – I wouldn’t want to lose a gold ring ))
All about the Mars MD pinpointer is collected here (news, tests, comparisons with other devices, different reviews and opinions). Plus, on Knowledgebase pages there is additional information you should know before buying the Mars MD pinpointer. The experience of others will help you save your time and money. Happy hunting to everyone!
