Got my self the Teknetics Omega 8500,my very first machine, and I wasn’t disappointed been out a few times and found loads, the dept is out of this world picking out objects 12″ + still learning how to use it.What a great Detector it is .Dave

The Omega 8000 is a great machine. Never had a detector that was so good on coins and silver. I have two of them. One i only use with the Detech Ultmate coil 13″, it goes deeeeeep !
Many times i outclasss my friends who have detectors twice the prize of mine. Parks that already are hunted empty i find still a lot of coins,silver and now and then even gold.

my teknetics omega 8000 broke down on a field day of national geographic in the netherlands.
it broke down on the support bracket .Just on that particular day i did not find anything.
I used to be very carefull with my apparatus ,but alass construction is very weak of coilsupport bracket .
Next time i will buy german quality .
