The world’s first Minelab Go-Find 40 with another coil!

See the photos & video: a 13-inch coil for Minelab Go-Find 40. But the most important thing is that the coils can be freely changed now!

I bought my Minelab Go-Find 40 not only for the review and test. It fell into my mind to install another coil on this metal detector. Here’s the first result!

  • About technical details… It has emerged that the original Minelab Go-Find 40 coil is not very Mono (and isn’t, however, of DD type as well, it is clear from its configuration). But it is not the main thing…

It turns out that the Minelab Go-Find 40 isn’t used at its full capacity! Its truly-designed-in depth is much deeper (roughly speaking, it’s two and a half times as much). But if you use maximum capabilities of this machine, the batteries run down very quickly.

  • ok but I do not see the tiger coil available for a go-find. Did you use one intended to be used on another machine like an xterra or something?
thanks for any help, I would like to do this mod to mine and it would also be a big help if you could tell me what connectors you used and wiring diagram for connections to the connectors.
feel free to email me if it would be easier…

  • I would also like to know which of the Tiger coils you used to modify the Go Find 40. I noticed that the cable was coiled inside the extendable boom. Did you use the original cable, or was this a part of the modification?

You mentioned the machine is not working at it’s full designed capacity. How can it be made to work better, with out putting too much strain on the batteries? Please include the wiring diagram in your reply.

  • Where did you get the coiled cable that connects the coil to the electronics of the machine?

  • How did you loosen the protective shaft covering? Is there any glue inside or is it clamped only?

  • Could you show how the wiring was done please very keen to do the same

  • Now I could see me owning something like this.

  • You can ask for the connection diagram?

  • Please some one can tell me how to connect the new coil in my go find 60. Diagram connection. This guy no help us!! In the video when he use pin point mode the lights of go find no see. I think is a fake video.

  • Tell me about it. The same Mars coil you can go to Go Find 60?

  • hi can you tell me if it works with go-66. and how the connector cables are connected.

  • This not correct, the all go find series just 4 wire system, but the tiger coil is 5!

  • Tady nám nikdo neodpověděl, tudíž usuzuji že celé je to vymyšlené, fake a snůžka lží a podvod. Žádný detektor go find s jinou cívkou není funkční a pokud ano, tak proč to ten pán nedokáže??? Proč nikomu z celé této debaty neodpoví???! Jdu pryč, je to podvodník!
