XP Deus Coil Battery Replacement. Repair in 5 minutes

How to tear down the XP Deus coil in order to replace the battery? The whole process will take about 5 minutes. And it’s even without being in a hurry, with consideration of all the details. Remember that it’s not difficult to open the bottom of the coil, but you should pay due attention to providing the latter with a proper seal afterwards, to prevent moisture penetration. Otherwise you will get more serious problems than an ordinary battery replacement.

  • I have a 13″ coil from new which holds charge all day and a 2nd hand 11″ coil purchased off eBay for ?90, for some reason I can’t get on with the 13″ and much prefer to use the 11″ but lately the charge lasts only 5-6hrs, not bad for a 10 year old battery but Regtons want ?75 to replace and honestly I’d rather chuck it in the bin than pay that. So I’ve obtained a battery ?7, some marine silicon glue ?5 and with a sharp thin blade I’ll take it careful and slow.
These detectors are expensive enough without having to pay through the nose to maintain them. If I ever need to buy new gear in the future then guaranteed it’ll not be French made, that’s for sure.

  • What battery is required for the x35 coil please
