Sad hoard of silver coins. Photo (+)

New photos of a hoard have been “floating” on the Internet cesspits. But how sad they are! There is hunter’s happiness, but there is also disappointment.

Watch the new hunters’ photos, the find is a silver hoard. The coins are presumably of XIV—XVI centuries, Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Seemingly the coins have been stuck together in a clump… But they can’t be separated, it’s most likely the coins have fused together in a fire. One has dug up sort of a normal hoard, but it can’t even be examined. Such things do happen to the hunters whatever.

  • That’s what you call one lump sum.

  • there was a hoard of hammered coins just like this on ebay several years ago found on a building site in london, believed to be fused together by the fire in 1666. The coins dated back to henry viii & elizabeth 1st… sold very cheap at around ?100 gbp.
