White’s new machine (photo). NEW 2018?

The latest trend among MD manufacturers now is showing how their new product testing is being conducted. So it isn’t enough to simply announce something like the Minelab Go-Find shaft is approved by MD enthusiasts, like Minelab does. It should be at least 100 test men on all continents of the world who will try out absolutely every situation you can think of… A guy who conducts tests for White’s has revealed, either accidentally or intentionally, their new machine. Are you willing to see the first photo of White’s novelty?

Photograph by tester Tom Boykin. The tests are carried out in Brazil. It’s highly likely that White’s new unit will be based on the MX7 device and be designed for gold prospecting. Simply said, it will be a high-frequency version of the MX7 (plus, the machine will be of a different color, it’s very important).

All new metal detectors 2018 are collected here. The hottest ones are the Minelab Equinox, Makro Multi Kruzer and Quest Q40.

  • No it’s not just a new high frequency gold machine. The new White’s detector is totally new technology. It’s a hybrid combo of VLF and PI. Very exciting! You heard it here first!

  • How will a hybrid VLF/pi work?
Will it be a pi that can discriminate?
Will it be good in hot ground? Will it have good depth?
It does sound exciting! And expensive, lol!
Wonder how long before release? So many questions!!!

  • I have absolutely no questions! The first “hybrid” metal detector
VLF plus PI was made by Kolokolov and Schedrin almost 10 years
ago. The metal detector name is Koschei – 25K. Were White’s
engineers so lazy as to steal, sorry, borrow this technology only
now? I believe they could wait some 20 years more!

    • Yes, throughout the years I have hard some what of an urban legend, in regards to Whites coming into possession by whatever means, a hybrid pi/vlf technology. White’s kinda kept the technology under lock and key for many years. Kind of like an emergency ace card.
The reason why it was never released was due to the technology possibly cannibalizing the other White’s machines. Just what I heard, just a rumor? Who knows.

      • Yeah, that’s all a bunch of “no”. Minelab & Garrett are killing White’s, and they’re gonna sit on game-changing technology to save a few MXT sales?

    • The Koschei 25K is a dual mode VLF/PI. Can’t do both at the same time. The White’s technology is simultaneous VLF and PI. I was developing this product when the crazy peaked and I decided it was time to leave.

      • Yes, that’s true! Koschei-25K works either in PI or in VLF mode.
But if mineralisation of the ground is very high you can work in
PI mode and when you find good signal you can check it using
VLF mode. You have “two” metal detectors at hand. What about
“simultaneous VLF and PI” technology from White’s, if I am not
mistaken PI is time-domain technology and VLF is frequency-domain
technology so I wander how the genius-of-engineers from White’s
“fused” these technologies together? Carl, will you be so kind as to
give us US Patent number covering this marvelous technology?
We will read this document and start saving money to buy this new
        and amazing metal detector!

  • Well that picture certainly was not of the hybrid Whites machine. Just another VLF nugget machine. Too bad.

  • That picture probably didn’t help his situation at Whites. Boykin was either fired or quit Whites very recently. Not long ago on the Detector-Prospector forum he let a cat out of the bag that the V3i has a secret sequence of button presses that open hidden menus and options not meant to be accessed by the end user. This sequence remains secret and undiscovered to this day, but he was quickly admonished and silenced about it. What I’d give to have that sequence and to know what can be accessed.
