The manufacturer Nokta has discontinued the production of the Simplex BT metal detector, the mid-range model of the second-generation Simplex series. Other metal detectors in this series, Simplex Lite and Simplex Ultra, remain available for sale without changes.
The reason for this decision is still unknown. The Simplex BT metal detector was functionally and practically the closest to the legendary first-generation Nokta Simplex. It was this detector that earned the manufacturer widespread recognition among metal detecting enthusiasts.
On the other hand, Nokta currently offers a solid selection of affordable metal detectors. All of them are significantly ahead of competitors, and internal competition within the lineup may have led to these changes.
Or perhaps there’s another reason… Is the manufacturer preparing a new metal detector? As we know, Nokta is no stranger to surprises!
