The MDLink kit turns any your headphones into a wireless headset. The device works on a “from transmitter to receiver” principle. There are two parts of this system: the first is plugged into the detector’s audio socket, the second connects to any headphones. The concept is typical, and all of the large md manufacturers are producing similar kits (Minelab, Garrett, Quest). It’s a great way to add a wireless headphone feature to your metal detector.

So, what is the difference between the MDLink and the already existing models? First of all, it’s almost instant data transfer – the delay time is nearly 1 millisecond. For your reference: the competitors could put this parameter into effect at a rate of just 20-40 ms. However, the less delay you have, the more precisely you’ll be able to locate a target, thereby avoiding the situation when the signal is slow in coming and the real location of the object doesn’t coincide with the coil position. Thus, 1 millisecond is a really awesome gain!

4 channels through which data transfer, with the channel selection indicator. One transmitter is able to transfer the signal to an unlimited number of receivers. You can switch to your detecting buddy’s channel so that you can join in and hunt together real-time. The unit also has a built-in battery with a USB charger. The transmitter and receiver battery life is up to 20 hours. The MDLink kit is very lightweight and compact.
