Opening the Garrett Z-lynk. WT-1 and WR-1 modules

Here’s a photo review of disassembling the Garrett Z-lynk wireless system kit. There are two parts to this system: the Garrett WT-1 (transmitter) and Garrett WR-1 (receiver).

  • 18650 battery?

  • is it possible to open my wt-1 and replace the battery? Mine will not take a charge

  • Thank You for your work and photos. I have a problem with this transmiter because my detector has stereo audio signal and Z-Lynk has only one audio channel. My detector is White’s Spectra V3i. This detector need two channel audio for full performance. I need to hear all metal audio in one ear and discriminate audio in second ear.

Is it possible to prepare Z-Lynk for dual audio channel transmision (stereo)? Can You send me better quality PCB photos of transmiter and receiver?

    Best regards,
    Waldek
