All new metal detectors come with either a straight shaft or a simple curved tube. XP Deus-like stems are becoming a thing of the past. Why? They are expensive to produce. Metal detectorists aren’t willing to pay so much for a stem. You’ll see for yourself: should a cheap XP Deus be launched, it will come with a straight shaft, too.
